I have gone through the Treadmill running series and have a question.
Since there is no falling for treadmill running, should we try more like a spot running but at a desired cadence (~180 Steps/minute)?
Hi - it helps if you set up your treadmill with a slight incline. Try a 2-5 degree angle. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Thanks Lana. I understand angle would help in improving posture. Mentally if we frame trademill running as simple spot running -- won't that be easier to adapt?
angle would help with perception. When running on treadmill, the belt is what's moving and it "takes away" from running. The angle helps "bring it back" a bit. If you think of it as running on a spot you would set yourself up for a drill not a run. Try it - run in place and then run on treadmill with an incline.
