Hello,
How is this intended to work? Is the Idea to do one drill then one run then one drill than one run etc.? Or all the drills then one run then do all the drills again? Or all the drills and then all the runs? Thanks and sorry I am rather dense on this sort of thing.
Think of this like interval training. Instead of an outright rest period, you do a drill. So it lefts your heart come down, but not all the way, while maintaining a skilled movement via the drills. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Thanks. I wasn't sure if I should go drill>run>drill etc. or do all the drills in a row then all the runs
Drill > run > drill. But if you're following one of our training programs than each program provides the standard setup and it can be modified to suit your training needs.
Drills reinforce the correct running technique, so it is recommended to do the drill and a short run afterwards. Long runs are not recommended when working on your technique. Let us know if you have any other questions!
