Anyone have advice for getting my support leg to pull up before dropping my other foot? It definitely accounts partially for my mediocre success with my falling standard.

Hi Donald. Some advice we give at the seminars is to initiate a shrug at the shoulder level. Imagine yourself as a slinky, being pulled up, with your feet and legs following as you change support. In the beginning it will resemble an exaggerated hop. As you get better, the hip will become less and less noticeable, until you’re moving as effortlessly as possible.
