Depending on the severity of your IT band discomfort, you can perform the suggested drills throughout the day if necessary. The most important component is to reduce landing ahead of the body, which would eliminate the cause of the original strain and allow you to begin to remedy the injury.
Hi Severin- Am I understanding correctly you saying the 5 sets are meant to be repeated back to back AND possibly repeated they out the day (I.e. 15 sets total over the course of a day)? And can they be done every day or only ~3 days per week. Yes I am certainly working on foot landing under body instead of out in front. 🙏 Thanks
Yes, rehab work can be done throughout the day. You're not risking re injury by performing those exercises. Keep us updated on your progress.
